What is Podiatry?
Podiatry, often referred to as Chiropody, involves the diagnoses and treatment of conditions of the lower limb and foot. Many people are under the misconception that ‘Podiatry‘ and ‘Chiropody‘ are different disciplines, whereas in fact they are the exact same profession.
Since 2005, only those who have undertaken a 3-year Bachelors degree in Podiatric Medicine are eligible to be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council to be able to call themselves a Podiatrist or Chiropodist. You can check the HCPC register here to check that the professional seeing you is appropriately qualified.
For 35 years, we’ve been providing our patients with wholly evidence-based treatment to improve the condition and function of their feet. In this way, we hope to improve the lives and happiness of those who attend our clinic.
Operating 5 days a week, from Monday to Friday, we offer a comprehensive range of professional lower limb/foot care treatments and services for the whole family tailored to your individual needs.
